This is my first super telephoto lens. Excellent lens, for the price tag it has, over delivers at all corners. I loved it from the first day. Have used for birding majorly, excellent sharp pictures. 10/10

I am new to photography yet believes in quality. It made me learn better with the outcome of the photo and as a novice, sharpness is the most important criteria to get the best satisfaction. Quality is always an enhancement to go to the next step and improve rather than pondering what you have done wrong. Never regret my decision and I learned nature photography though this awesome lens. And lens makes the biggest difference for the outcome of the quality. Zoom is quick and MF is easy to use. Highly recommended lens!

Bought this lens to try nature or Wild Life photography. Super impressed by the sharpness and resolution this lens has. Although it's bit heavy at 2.2kg, the image it produced makes up for it. The internal zoom sealed it for me. Bought is and happy with it.

I bought this a few weeks back. Previously I have been using Tamron 150-600mm lens for my wildlife photography on Canon 6d. Now using a7iv body. Focusing using this lens is much faster and more accurate! It is a bit heavier but results are fantastic! Really happy with this purchase!

I had it for a week and my first use impression was good. Compared to my Sony RX10 IV, autofocus and image quality are better, but the brightness seems less. Will have to experiment more with settings.

So i got this some time ago right, I have been LIVING the time of my life going out to parks and nature reserves here birdwatching with this lens. Pictures are sharp, able to stabilise itself even tho I have noodle arms. I really like it. I seldom go out with my tripod even though its a good thing to have for birdwatching but it seems stable enough to not deem a tripod as compulsory in my opinion.

I bought this lens a month ago. I shot birds, some portrait and moon and videos. It produce very sharp result and especially combined with A7m4. I am happy using it.

I bought this lens almost a month and I really enjoyed shooting with this lens. I always like to zoom in photos to check the quality and it never disappoint me. Sometimes tracking birds will lose focus but most of the time it locks on target. Motorsports is also excited to shoot with this lens.

Have been using this lens for close to 2 months now. All I can say is I'm very pleased with the result in terms of image quality it produces. Not to mention I really love the internal zoom feature and the response of the AF. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I bought this to help with my bridwatching interest. However, I find it too heavy to lug around with me. It is unweildy too. So used to my Panasonic FZ2000, I thought it would be a great tool for my shots - well, as long as I find a place to park my tripod, sit for long minutes/hours focusing on one spot, this is a great thing to have. I think I will hang on to my bridge camera for a while yet.

I recently bought the lens and have been using it with my Sony mirrorless body primarily for wildlife photography. I am quite satisfied with the overall performance of the lens specially like shooting birds in flight and moving objects. The lens focus is fast and accurate!

I love nature photography and lately I have been using this lens for birds, squirrels, sunset and moon photography. My friends are amazed at how close I can get to my subject and they said the images are very sharp and has lots of details. The AF is fast, a short turn to zoom from 200-600 and best of all the lens barrel does not extend when I zoom in or out. I love the images I took with this lens and happy to receive good comments by my friends! Attached is a photo of the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher I took in Bishan Park with this lens.

I was looking for a secondary lens (having the 400mm f/2.8) for lighter/faster roaming around, with the extra reach. Upgraded from a Sigma 100-400mm and even though it is twice the price, the quality is so much better. More rugged, weather-sealed, no change in length, creamier out of focus backgrounds/bokehs, faster focus, much better image stabilization and sharper details. Definitely recommend this to step up your photo quality if you feel like you've reached the limits of a cheaper lens.

I love this lens, it gets really close to a subject and when paired with the A7rIV, it comes up with some amazing shots. Just a couple of times, it kid of gave me a 'black screen' as it it was somehow shut down and I had to turn the camera off and on again but the vast majority of the times it works really well. It's heavy... there's no disputing that so you'll really want to use a tripod if you are waiting around but have to stay focused.

The best all round telephoto lens. Fast focus, internal zoom, excellent clarity and almost no distortion at all ends of the zoom range. Also use it for landscapes at time! Have loved shooting with this lens and would highly recommend it….

Owned this lens for ~3weeks and using it with my A7R4A for birding. Still trying to get use to its weight when doing handheld shoot - but should be manageable over time. One shortcoming - no click for its rotating collar mount - caused some inconvenience due to use of lens coat which covers the marking dots. Mounting leg is too short and it would be nice if it is arca-swiss compatible so no need to buy a replacement leg. Overall, I am satisfied with the price/performance of this lens.

I bought this lens to try out bird and wildlife photography with my Sony A7M3 body. What I like: 1. Sharp and high contrast lens. Image quality is very good. 2. Internal Zoom. The lens does not extend out and shift the center of balance for the camera+lens combo. 3. Zooming from 200mm to 600mm needs only 90 degrees turn which make it quick for recomposing your shots. 4. Effective image-stabilisation 5. Reasonable price for the performance What I don't like: 1. Tripod foot is not Arca-Swiss compatible. I bought a 3rd party foot to replace it. 2. 95mm filter size means expensive filter 3. Heavy lens for hand-held photography. Need to use it with a monopod or tripod.

I bought this lens for my APSC camera on Nov 26 2020 at first i was hesitant to take but due to good review on this lens why not give a try and i am blown away with the result fast and sharp focus even in apsc camera. Can't wait to upgrade to FF body.

Bought this a month ago and started to explore a few genres such as wildlife and sports. Love the fast AF and the even weight distribution. Would be perfect if the tripod collar was fitted with one that could fit Arca-Swiss tripod directly.

a "budget" bird lens for the hobbyist. Good performance considering the price. Build quality is sturdy. You'll need strong arm muscles and a monopod to handle it!

Bought this as a travel lens as it’s very compact yet packs good performance. Very smooth focusing and feels solid. Only minor flaw is the lens hood assembly. Comes off quite easily. Room for improvement but nothing serious.
