An all around lens that is quite sharp and nice colour reproduction during day time. Overall experience with the lens is good, but the only let down is that it do not have dust moisture resistance.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it becomes my favorite lens. The focal range is just enough for every day shootings. With the same maximum aperture within the whole range, it is easy and fast to capture good photos.

Pros: - Bright, especially on long end - Premium feel, high quality material - Fast AF (maybe because I got an already updated firmware) Cons: - Manual zoom feels unnatural - A bit large and heavy, but not really an issue (got a full DSLR before, not going to comment about that) Overall, it's a good lens to cover commonly used focal length, great for travel and night photography.

I bought this lens three weeks ago for the cruise last week. The lens is light and easy to use. Quite happy with the result. This lens was mounted to my Alpha 6500 camera body. Photos were taken on board the ship, no flash was used. Minor photoshop editing was applied.

Love the constant F/4.0 aperture throughout the wide and zoom angles. I'm still new so not sure what I'm talking about. However, the zoom is very awkward and slow. I prefer the mechanical zoom, faster and doesn't consume camera battery.

This lens is terrific for videos because of the power zoom however lack sharpness as such, not that fantastic for photos. Nonetheless, for the price, it works as an all-purpose lens!

When we go to moment capture, from 3pictures snap, i can say only 1 picture sharp. In lowlight i need to be more carreful. For me this lens is useless without flash in lowlight or indoor condition.

I got the Sony @6500 for our school, so far very happy with all the auto functions as well as manual. The camera has a lot more you can do but need to find out more about this camera. Love the auto zoom for the video.

This is a well designed G Len with sharp crispy well balance saturation of photos taken from it though it is just a ASP C Len.

I'm so happy I bought this, been amazing taking photos with this lens. I love it that it is just the right amount of focal length. Amazing bokeh and love the F4 constant. Awesome!

I have the prouct for 2 months now and used for a few times. So far quite happy with its performance and the picture quality. Only thing the price is considered a bit high to me it would be good if the price is lower and more affordable.

After reviewed the lens from the internet I bought this lens for my video shooting. It’s a multipurpose len and with good optic quality. Pretty much cover all the focal length we need! Can do beautiful bokeh look portraits, wide enough to take landscape photography also enough zoom range for that extra reach. Overall it’s a must have lens for a6500!

I bought this lens together with A6500 couple weeks ago. It suits your need if you are a traveler who does not know what might be your subject. The auto focus is excellent on moderate speed but poor performance under low light.

It's a great lens to use on a gimbal/stabiliser as I can zoom in/out without having to recalibrate my gimbal/stabiliser.

I bought this especially for a scenic holiday and it was the best investment ever. No more fiddling with changing lens, no more missing out on shots (even while on the bus). Having this lens on a a6000 also makes it "pro"!
