How can I connect the UWP-C1/UWP-C2/UWP-V1/UWP-V2/UWP-D11/UWP-D12 Wireless Microphone Package to a compact professional camcorder?

    Connect as follows.
    • Fasten the package to the accessory shoe of the camcorder using the supplied shoe mount adaptor.
    • Turn off the +48V power (phantom power) of the microphone input connector when using the package.
    • Audio of the tuner is in monaural.
    • Connect the package to one of the microphone input connectors (XLR female), such as Input ch1, using the supplied XLR-BMP conversion output cable to input audio from the tuner to the Sony compact professional camcorder.
    You cannot connect the tuner if you already have another accessory, such as a video light, connected to the accessory shoe.

    Set as follows.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 of the DSR-PDX10, DSR-PD150, DSR-PD170, HVR-Z7, HVR-A1, or HVR-V1, set the “REC CH SELECT” switch to “CH1·CH2” to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 of the HVR-Z5, set both the “CH1” and “CH2” switches to “INPUT1” to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 of the HVR-Z1, set “MIC SELECT” to “XLR” and set “XLR SET” > “XLR CH SEL” to “CH1, CH2” in the “AUDIO SET” menu to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to AUDIO IN CH-1 of the PMW-EX1/EX3, set the “AUDIO IN” switches on the rear panel to “EXT” for both “CH-1” and “CH-2”, and set “Audio Input” > “EXT CH Select” to “CH-1” in the “AUDIO SET” menu to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to AUDIO IN CH-1 of the PMW-100/160/200/300, set the “AUDIO IN” switches on the side panel to “EXT” for both “CH-1” and “CH-2”, and set “Audio Input” > “EXT CH Select” to “CH-1” in the “AUDIO SET” menu to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 of the HXR-NX5 or HXR-NX3, set both the “CH1” and “CH2” switches to “INPUT1” to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 on the XLR adaptor of the HXR-NX70 or HXR-NX30, set the “REC CH SELECT” switch of the XLR adaptor to “CH1·CH2” to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
    • When connecting the package to INPUT1 of the NEX-FS700, NEX-FS100, or NEX-EA50H, set both the “CH1” and “CH2” switches to “INPUT1” to record the input audio to ch1 and ch2.
